Some really good tunes, but never settled on a sound so they've never gotten beyond being a great support band, and I really can't see them making a Biffy-type breakthrough. I thought the last record was the closest they've come, and they're fun to listen to. It's still a little bit too basic though

Might give them a go. Hundred Reasons are a decent band.

Well they don't sound too much like them, but if I had to pick a band they reminded me of, it would be Hundred Reasons

They vary too much to describe really, it's mainly melodic rock, some stuff has a bouncy poppy angle, and some of the stuff on their first album had pretty much nu-metal swing.

It's not like they defy categorization ... more that they are indecisive.
