Whilst I have no doubt we will win the away leg, I just wanted to record my respect to Bayer Leverkusen.

Rare indeed is it to find a team who come to Old Trafford and take the game to us. Their passing and possession was excellent and they were happy to push men beyond the ball.

We'll do 'em at their place of course, but compared to the likes of Liverpool, Bayer are a credit to the competition.

I'll second that

They out-footballed us

Something the scousers could never do, and one of the main reasons I think they are a disgrace to the EPL. :p

It always comes back to the scousers :)

No the scousers would never do what Bayer did, concede two goals at OT and only draw you gotta keep a clean sheet and win ;) .

Seriously though, you can go through but just remember that it is not your god given right to be in Glasgow. You will have to play very well over there to win.

PS They give YAWN a good blast ;)

why will you do 'em at their place?
they were unlucky not to win last night, and they are considerably better at home...?

No, but neither has your midfield......

Need I say more

Shame really, I used to like the old Pass and move liverpool groove

dissing on the pool is all good. i hate them too, but they are second in EPL right now...that's not really disgraceful, it's more painful, but more disgraceful.

Be HONEST, what you REALLY liked was Liverpool finishing 4th/6th/8th and losing to you.

Which we dont any more.

Let's not get to COCKY again and think Manchester United would win in the Bay Arena just like that.

Bayer Leverkusen are a good team, it just doesn't seem that obvious since none of the players are known.... :)

I reckon the close season will see many of the Bayer side tempted away by 'bigger' clubs.

I know that ze roberto and ballack are supposedly as good as gone anyway.

They are a good side. I do feel though that with better finishing from Ruud etc we would have had the game won by half-time.

The consolation is that their defence is not the biggest strength of their team.

It's gonna be very tough, but I believe in the United players, and don't think it will be 0-0 over there.
