Capcom has confirmed that the HD conversions of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code Veronica X will cost 1600 Microsoft Points (about £13.71) or €19.99/£15.99 on the PlayStation Store.

Resident Evil 4 HD is scheduled for release on September 20 in the US, with Resident Evil Code: Veronica X launching a week later on September 27. Capcom hasn't provided any dates for the European release yet.

For the few that haven't played Resident Evil 4, the game sees players taking control of Resident Evil 2 protagonist Leon Kennedy as he attempts to fight his way through cultists, mutants and brainwashed villagers in a remote village in Europe to rescue the president's daughter.

CODE: Veronica X takes place a few months after the events of Resident Evil 2, in which Raccoon City was destroyed. Playing as Claire Redfield, players fight for their lives during a search for her missing brother Chris on Rockfort Island.

On one hand, I am happy, as I didn't get the chance to play RE4 the first time around. On the other, I am slightly irked that it costs more on PS3.

I have Code Veronica on DC so I will give it a miss.

RE4 was very good on the Wii a few years back. Not sure how well it compares to the more recent games as I didn't play Resident Evil 5. It's definitely worth a play though.

I have RE5. Good game, but not very 'RE like', if you follow.

I thought about picking a copy up, but I still have about 4 or 5 games to play that I've hardly touched. I need my days to be about 36 hours long!
