Lingard fk.. poor one. somehow it goes in.
Michael keane got the final touch.

Ht 2-0 United.

First goal scored by Michael Keane from a Jesse Lingard fk. Second goal scored by Jesse Lingard from a Michael Keane pass.

United defending well but have been poor in possession so far.

John Henry at the game..

oh and Liverpool have made it 1-2

Shouldve had a pen. Not given..
Dont get those away at Liverpool..

Really poor defending..
Guess the players are tired after the Newcastle game.
Liverpool easily the better side in the second half.

Classy at every level...

@PeterBolton3 Still 2 - 1 to #mufc. Stewards have just asked me to take ONE LOVE flag down. Very bitter scousers!

Shocking defending second half and poor performances all round, nowhere near the levels that team are capable of. Looks as if everyone is still tired from the dallas cup and monday.

So many averages performances, every single one of them in fact. Special mentions however to De laet who I doubt will be at the club much longer and Zeki Fryers who was also woeful. Tunnicliffe is a shadow of the player he was last year and went missing for the whole ninety minutes.

The way we persisted in just hitting it long was horrible to watch and not what this team is about at all.

Will have to do much better if they are to win at Chelsea on monday.

I am sure tiredness has effected some of the players with extra games and especailly with all the travel involved. However there are some players that need to look at them selves.
For instance Fryers has been generally very poor since his couple of good first team displays.
Tunnicliffe seems to have gone into reverse, since his return from Peterborough he seems to have lost all confidence.
The other returning loanee, De laet, is the most inconsistant player I have ever watched, going from good to bad with virtually every touch of the ball. I think he has the ability to make it somewhere (not united) but I can see why his loans have not worked out; managers would always be frightened of his poor concentration producing costly error.

the De Laet transfer was a random one at that - plucked from obscurity at Stoke.

We knew about him from his time at Royal Antwerp, scouting on him must have been positive from that period but things just didn't work out at Stoke. If I remember correctly, him arriving at the club also allowed James Chester to go out on loan (my memory is sketchy on that one though)

Anyone else remember that Ngoo lad (Liverpool striker) from his trial with us? Kissed his badge at one point I think, only to sign for Liverpool a few weeks later

We didn't offer him a contract.
