Reserves Vs Bolton (Home)

Second game in the reserve league.

Game is live on MUTV and KO is 7pm.

Think the team will be similar to last week, but possibly without Bebe and Obertan. Don't know if Morrison will be fit after coming off in Mondays game.

I expect the team to be:

Johnstone/Devlin
Brown-Wooton-Gill-De Laet
Ajose-Eikrem-Evans-Brady
Stewart-Keane

If Obertan and/or Bebe play I would expect either Ajose, Stewart or Brady to drop out.
 
Is Stewart back from Yeovil now then?

I agree that Stewart's time is coming to an end. The fact he hardly set Yeovil alight is not a good thing!.
 
We always clear about 10 players out at the end of the season - expect next season to be no different.

Agree that Stewart looks fairly likely to go unless he does something dramatic in the rest of the season.

He's only played one game there so far because of injury/tonsilitis.

He came back to Carrington to rehab and the terms of his loan allow him to play for the reserves while still being registered with Yeovil. He's due back there tomorrow last I heard, which may well rule him out of playing tonight.
 
He's moving up in the world, has no time for the reserves anymore.

P.S PS18 is ManUnitedYouth on twitter?

Think we might see him on the bench too, makes sense to get him as much game time as possible!!
 
Should be an interesting watch yet again. Shame Tunnicliffe and Cofie don't start.

Bebe not playing is very interesting too, may be nothing but wonder if he'll play a part at the weekend.
 
It's still 0-0 if you haven't a stream. Pretty scrappy so far. Interestingly Obertan is playing more of an attacking midfield/second striker role behind Ajose who missed the only real chance when clean through in the first few minutes.
 
Shit game so far, picked up slightly towards the end, can only get better. Obertan needs to play wider to have more influence its too congested for him in the middle
 
Eikrem is fantastic, why on earth wasn't he brought on yesterday? Couldn't see the point of letting one substitution go unused.

Looks a bit lightweight though not short on ability.He was never going to replace Anderson and Gibson last night given how competitive Scunny were

Cameron Stewart hit the crossbar when he should have passed to Ajose. Nicky starts to swear at him. Stewart replies" Who the feck you swearing at you little dickhead?" :lol:

Couple of mins later Ajose scores after a great run from Obertan

Stewart's got some attitude

Best passer in the reserves but the step up is huge. Wouldn't mind see him on loan

Which is why it was an opportunity lost to put him on for 10/15 mins when the match was won.

There is no reserve game for about a month after the game v Blackburn on Monday (if I remember correctly) so it is likely that a number of them will go out on short term loans and you'd assume he'd be one of the most coveted players.

Hopefully Stewart gets his game together because I don't think he's got anything on Ajose :angel:
