Live on MUTV tonight, final of the Lancashire Senior Cup. Should be some rivers hopefully.

Twitterverse saying Lindegaard is starting.

Nice, good to see if Josh King has developped. Wouldn't be a bad partner for Will Keane in theory.

Not at all.
The kids are the future. Blackpool have a fantastic reserves side.. They are the City of the reserve teams.
A win would be fantastic news. Almost make up for last night.
...

Ashley Fletcher, I would think.

Team Sheet:

Line up; Lindegaard, Vermijl, Giverin, Brown, Wootton, Fornasier, Rudge, Hendrie, King, Ekangamene, Brady.

Subs; Wilkinson, Johnstone, Fletcher, Gorre

A strange one actually. I cant see this team playing the flowing football we usually do. Lots of regular reserves missing.

Good to see some academy lads getting a game though, but a shame theres no Daehli, Rothwell, Pearson, Barmby, Mculloch or Blackett.

How bizarre, guess we're resting players for Fridays league game, which means nothing? That is not a team used to playing together, to say the very least! None of the normal reserve players, seems more a 'everyone who hasn't had a game for a while' team.

Wait John Fleck? I swear he was a highly rated up at Rangers, doesn't have a great attitude though.

We need victory to wash last night's taste from our mouths! If we win this game all will be well.

Or am I deluding myself?

Nah

Good chance for young lads Charni, Hendrie and Rudge to test themselves against more experienced opposition.

Was very highly rated but hasn't kicked on at all. Danny Wilson who plays tonight was also very highly rated but hasnt got a look in at all at Liverpool, must be on loan at Blackpool.

Yeah just realised that too.

Craig Cathcart is also playing btw.

Correct me if I am wrong - but isn't this team basically every outfield player not involved in the last reserve game ? :)

Who's Ashley Fletcher? I've never heard of him.

An u16s striker. Local lad, very tall and quick. Surprising inclusion as he hasnt even played much academy football this year.

No Pogba, Petrucci, Keane, Cole, Fryers or Lindgard. All our best reserves must have decided to leave after last night's result. Who can blame them?
Most of them will be playing against Swansea now that the result doesnt matter.

Be interesting to keep an eye on Brady. He's apparently going to be involved in our first team next season.

Hope so, we need an out and out left winger amongst other things obviously.
