Reserves Vs Blackburn (away)

Another game for the reserves tonight. a league game which is live on MUTV. KO is 7pm. This is the last reserves game for a month (2nd Nov).

With the Giggs injury, I would not be surprised to see Obertan and maybe Bebe not involved and in the CL squad. We will also be missing De Laet and Ajose as they are on loan.

My guess at the team:

Very surprised to see Obertan in there. Thought he would be with the first team flying to Spain tomorrow. I am not saying he still won't go, but its a risk him playing in this game.

Does this also mean that Bebe is ahead of Obertan in the pecking order for the first team?

It's fully deserved, he's been excellent for the Academy and by far our best defensive talent coming through.

Havn't seen any of Vermijl but i thought the team would have better balance with Cofie starting up top and Obertan out wide.

He's just ended up clearing a Blackburn move at left back position though. So he can certainly get around the pitch.

It didn't look like a dive, but he'd played the ball before the contact so shouldn't have been given.

Vermijl is causing them some problems with his movement. Already had 3 good chances.

Johnstone played for the Academy on Saturday.

I think him and Devlin will be alternated, with Coll and Jacob alternating for the academy.
