Reserves v Fleetwood Town - 20th July

For people wanting directions to the ground, it's probably best to use Google Maps.

Alternatively, you can go your own way.

I'm sorry.

According to Mr.Mujac, we've Max Lonsdale(a trialist) on our subs bench. He plays for Maccelsfield U19. He is a midfielder.

I found this rather big youtube video of him.

Unless they really improve in the second half - I think we can agree that our reserves are off to a really sluggish start

58 mins and Pogba scores a spectacular 25 yard dipping thunderbolt. A fantaric goal to light up a poor game

Reminds me of a young Giggs in the way he moves - not at the same level though :)

^ I'm almost certain that if Pogba was six yards out, in front of an open net, he'd refuse to score because it would be "too easy."

Reserves now 2-0 up, Danny Drinkwater keeps his run of scoring in every friendly so far going with a goal 5 minutes from time.

Crikey, just seen Pogba's goal. This lad is first class, and looks frakking HUGE. Shame he's no on tour.

If he's attacking, where's the issue though? There's always a concern with almost any player. As an attacking outlet, he could be as good as anyone. It's not just something we've seen - from his debut he's shown qualities that even older players would struggle against. The way he moves the ball, his passing ability and his striking is very good. He does get stuck in now and then but with better players and with his confidence, it would be a MAJOR disappointment if he flopped

He is huge. Watching him against Shrewsbury, he was the one player where you could just glance down at the pitch and go "oh, there's Pogba." I imagine he's still got some growing to do as well.

What worries me about Pogba - very often he looks very lazy and out of rhytm, when he is without ball and defending...

I thought that, but I think it might just be that he's got a laid back style of moving about. I would like him to use his size more though, he seemed to shy away from muscling players off the ball against Shrewsbury, although that could be because it's pre-season, and he didn't want to be too physical.

Pogba looks like one hell of a player. Got a feeling he could have a real breakthrough in the first team within the next couple of years. That goal is classic Pogba, too.
