I just noticed that after every new post I have this scale that tells me how many reputation points I have - I don't see this on anyone elses posts but mine. Could somone tell me what it is/means/does?

ummm I have 10 too - that's my point, what does it mean? is 10 good, or is it low...what does a high reputation give you that a low one doesn't?
10 is your initial reputation. For example in the newbies you must collect 150, I think, reputation points to be automatically promoted. Every approval of a post by a mod is worth 10 points.
10 is great, you must be famous
if you reach the level of 20 point you will be promoted to the Vip section of the caff

If you have less than 50 the mods will send 50 Trojan Viruses to your computer via your IP address
I was promoted years ago before this reputation stuff was ever around so maybe it has to do with that.
