Laurent Blanc was brilliant today, both in defence and when he got moved upfront towards the end, the way he ran past about 3 players and passed it to Giggs who expectedley fecked the move up was good and this guy is one person who Can play for years yet - Larry White = world class.
as for the rest of the team today, it was reminisent of the Bolton game where without Keane we struggled to play well and its cost us, deep down most reds thought the league was probably going to Anfiled or Highbury but now it seems a formality. Greening got a surprisingly good reception being clapped off when he got injured, and once again after our 5th home defeat this season the majority of us clapped every player off and kept singing for the lads, although were obviously just glory hunters
Veron contary to what you may hear did not get booed off, there was a fair few cheering but that was'nt a personel thing but his fannying around cost us the game today, but he did put himself about in tackles and try that bit harder but today it just was'nt gunna happen for him or any of the others today.
Someone in the South stand got a reaction out of Charlie Ince ( ) and then when he realised he was making himself look an arse he started to clap like a cnut, to which he got a coin threw at him by someone nearer to shooting distance.
There keeper is the ultimate time wasting bastard to play against us and all I can say now is EVERY game is a cup final and Laurent Blanc is a class act

couldn't agree with you more. He shone throughout the game. He read the game well, won every header, outwitted the boro attack every time and was completely unflappable.

ten out of ten

he could teach Veron a thing or twenty....

Thanks Michael - more good news about Blanc.

Just a thought; I'm a Ronny Johnsen fan but...should we not think about playing O'Shea alongside Blanc now to give him the experience ?

Or is the Johnsen / Blanc partnership looking solid ?

i suppose we can only take pleasure in the fact that he nver achived anything of any worth after he left UNITED .....fool, if he had a bit of respect and kept his mouth shut he may have won a treble ! - although i don't think the reserves got medals !

he did't win anything ith INTER did he ?

Good Post MW,

thanks for clearing that up about Veron, in fairness he was no worse than anyone else today.
Can you imagine if we had recently paid the market value for Beckham or giggs how much shit they'd be getting?

Good point... but I guess we miss to see that too often...

Veron is the scapegoat today cause hes an easy target, ie foreign and expensive.
I wont criticise him for todays performance as he was one of 8 or 9 underperformers. Hes a good enough player himself to know he played a bad game and hell come good in the end.

I'm not in doubt that he can still prove to be a class-act... and YES... in United!
