Replacing Edwin, Scholes and Giggs.

It's something we're going to have to do very soon, maybe as soon as this Summer.

What I want you to do is give me 3 players that we can get as replacements but list them in categories of:

  • Wish List - Unobtainable but player's that you'd love.
  • Optimistic - Top players that you feel would be interested.
  • Realistic - Bargain bin.
 
Van Der Sar
  • Wish List - ???
  • Optimistic - Neuer
  • Realistic - Jaaskelainen

Scholes

  • Wish List - Fabregas
  • Optimistic - Rodwell
  • Realistic - Defour

Giggs

  • Wish List - Ronaldo
  • Optimistic - Sanchez
  • Realistic - Some former homless person?
 
I somehow don't think replacing them will be as obvious as buying 3 brand new players. As the manager, I'm pretty sure Fergie has been aware of the situation for a while and will have thought out the possibilites carefully.
Unless he's leaving the options open for the new manager, who knows.

Why? because my wish list doesn't have Messi and co on? the players I chose are ones I'd really love to see in a United shirt and think would thrive at this club under Fergie. Despite my appreciation for world class players like Xavi and Sneijder I am more interested in Fergie making some very good players into world class ones rather than buying them in.
