Hoping that United have a few players turning back the years, because although we have some promising new signings, we still need a bit from existing players.

After pre season and first game (ok, early to judge), my money is on

Casemiro - Looking leaner and fitter.

Maguire - Hungry and something to prove. Also lots of competition.

I think the best thing to happen to Maguire at United was when the captaincy was taken off him. Bruno is more vocal and probably commands more respect from the players, certainly does with the fans. With that pressure off him I really don't think he's been bad since then. I wouldn't say he's been amazing many times but he has put in plenty of solid performances. He stuck through all the pressure and hate from fans and pundits, put his head down, worked hard in training and has played plenty of games. After all the criticism!

More importantly, I think he has set a good example to the young players and also, the mature players. You can go through a bad period and get heat on yourself but, you can also take it on the chin and work through it.
