Well, I have to say that while i despise Hollywood remakes this is one I might be looking forward to...Such an amazing novel and, still, clearly relevant today
Same, I've always thought it deserved a decent film adaptation. Unfortunately I know deep down it's not going to be what I want it to be and it's going to be some watered down Hollywood tripe.

There's already been a more than decent adaptation with Richard Burton and John Hurt. There's also another one from the 50's starring Peter Cushing which I haven't seen but I've heard it's pretty solid.
