Relegated Clubs: Players that could stay in the Prem

This thread was originally going to be about Paul Robinson (the one who plays in goal for Blackburn), but I realised that'd probably get about three replies, so I've decided to change it to this. When teams leave the Premier League, there are usually some players who have had good seasons for them which leads to a move to a surviving Premier League club, or a newly promoted team.

I'm not sure how often this actually works - Charlie Adam and the two ex-Birmingham centrebacks would suggest that it usually doesn't, but I thought it might be interesting to see who the Caf thought could remain in the Premiership.

The reason that I mentioned Robinson at the start, is because I think he could be one of those players. I've been impressed with him over the course of the season at Blackburn, and I reckon he could do a good job for a few teams either coming up or in the Premiership already. Perhaps West Brom might go for him, if Birmingham get promoted and Foster goes back to them?

Other than him, there's the obvious answer of Hoilett, but I also think that Yakubu might go somewhere. At Wolves, Jarvis might be a target. This is when I realise that I probably should have waited for the third club to go down. I've typed the thread out now, so I'm posting it.

Robinson will definitely go, as will Yakubu, Hoilett, possibly Dann, maybe Pedersen and Hanley. N'Zonzi too.

Jarman, Doyle and Fletcher will probably leave Wolves, maybe Hennessey and Johnson.

If QPR go down it might be easier to list those who'll stay.

Stephen Fletcher and Jarvis from Wolves; Hoilett, Pedersen, Yak and Robinson from Blackburn will probably stay in the PL with new clubs.

I know dipping (hehe) into recently relegated clubs hasn't done them good this season but Liverpool could do a shit load worse than N'zonzi and Hoilett, would fill the need for a genuine defensive presence in midfield and Hoilett would be a good buy for anyone in the division.

Martin Olsson could stay. He's been a good buy for them and is only 23. Team like Wigan could do with him or Gael Givet. Givet is a fighter.

Not a lot at Wolves besides Jarvis. Fletcher perhaps. He's better than Doyle I feel. Doyle has Heskey numbers at Wolves. I'd regard him as a flop.
We need to keep Stephen Hunt in the league. He's got that stereotypical crazy drunken Irish look going on. Reminds me of Dylan Moran. He's a useful player that gets a goal now and again.

How about Stephen Ward? The John O'Shea of the lower table clubs?

Wolves

Jarvis and Fletcher, are the main two.

Maybe Berra, Milijas, Doyle and young David Davis looked a decent prospect.

Blackburn

Hoilet, Yakubu, Robinson, Olsson (the original), N'Zonzi, Pedersen and Hanley.

Maybe Formica.

Aside from Fletcher and Jarvis, I don't think Wolves will lose too many players. Doyle may also want to leave and has attracted teams in the past. But his performance hasn't been great for a couple of seasons now.

Blackburn are fecked, they seem to have debts and despite selling Jones/ Samba haven't spent money. They have a young core, but I reckon clubs will cherry pick the best youngsters out of the club. Think Blackburn could plummit throught the Championship.

Jamie O'Hara perhaps? He wouldn't be too costly a signing for one of the newly promoted sides or those likely to inhabit the bottom half of the Premiership next season.

Hoilett is probably the best player going down, given his age/potential. He'll go to a top 6 side I think, thought we would have signed him but if we sign Kagawa then theres no real need. Chelsea might get him as they need some wingers, Liverpool or Spurs maybe.

You say this but a lot of big names stayed at West Ham. All depends on the team spirit I guess tho.

Also depends on what sort of deals they're on - they'll only leave if the money's right.

Dann is probably the player my Blackburn supporting mate rates the least (to put it mildly), and he doesn't think very highly of many of their players. He has been absolutely terrible for them. And I don't think Olsson who has been mentioned a couple of times is any good at all.
Team like Wigan could do with him or Gael Givet. Givet is a fighter.
But are there any takers for a player with heart problems?

My mate is a Wolves season ticket holder and his Dad knows a few lads at the board level. He reckons apart from their keeper and Fletcher, they're hopeful of holding on to most of their lads.

One midtable club should be Johnson AND Dann... Apart they're sometimes shoddy, but together they were invariably solid for Birmingham.

If they keep Jarvis, then they could bounce right back into the Premiership.

I am mates(acquaintance) with the son of Venky's owners and they will sell most of their star players to cover the loses they will face next season.

Also they knew about relegation ( contrary to the what was said) but were told by Kean Blackburn had too many good player to even think about it.

If your ITK information is actually ITK: Is there any chance that they'll fire Kean? And is there any chance they'll sell the club and feck off?

He is a 18 year old spoilt brat, probably knows feck all about his business or such.
