Any fans of 'modern' Jamaican music on here, besides CLK and Boss?

I have these musical phases, and right now I can't get enough of this shit. It's great for getting behind a girl in the club and grinding, winding or daggering (it's a nice feeling :D)

(Yes, squeeze her breast like the trigger of my gun)

One of the sadder, slow moving jams, it's a classic

Uh, anyone?

I like Dub reggae, its so relaxing. Perfect for a sunday morning, or a summer afternoon in the sun

Dub fans will tell you that King Tubby and Scientist are the two most obvious choices for dub, but they're so good it'd just be try hard to ignore them (and I dont really know many other dubbers as much as I know those two)

I realise this isnt exactly modern, but it is what it is.

Nice,I like dub from this era too.Check out lee scratch perry and mad professor aswell.

On a different but not totally unrelated note, I have a Bob Marley 2CD live album which is the greatest album for just sitting back, getting drunk or high and chilling the feck out. Begins with Natural Mystic, lush album.

"Dance to this Ja music, we gonna dance to this Ja music."

Also, I like calling it Jamrock, because that's a cool word, Jamrock.

Yea co-sign to that.... I'm going to add some nice stuff to this thread a bit later.

Couldn't work out what to put this in, it's traditional Dub Reggae (produced & largely written by Prince Fatty) not all this modern twaddle, but I've been listening to Hollie Cook's album this week and enjoying it.

A great cover of the always underrated Shangri-Las

I know you like your plastic posturing and cynically manufactured videos Boss, sorry for brining some music to the table. Not a fan I take it?

Cheers, loving both of these.

These are three big tunes right now. I've also included a mix of their riddims with various artists.

Overproof Riddim Mix

Lost Angel Riddim Mix

Summer Time Riddim Mix

I'm choosing to ignore all of this newer stuff, and proceed to continue the theme of Hollie Cook's ShangriLa cover and the conversation me & datura were having over Twitter of Great Reggae Covers...I feel it can only improve this thread.
