Just read the article! Very good analysis of the keano legal saga. The way i see it, if FA is brave enough, and not to be influenced by the media, they will let Keane go! I'd imagined in the first place, they charged him only under the ABU press pressure and if there is a legal defence advanced for keane, FA can legitimately freed keane.
The question here is: has FA the courage and be brave enough to stand against pressure?! The defence of 'freedom of speech' is crucial here. It appears that the Criminal QC retained by FA is hardly an 'expert' in the relevant argument though. Here's hoping that Keano has more than just Micheal Kennedy as his counsel.
i am reposting here below what i post in another thread which is somewhat relevant in here. Sorry if you are reading it twice.

with benefit of hindsight, yes, he shouldnt have. BUT the big question is, it is the ABU media which is trying to portray him as a monster, and he is definately NOT. He's not a dirty player, compare to a lot in Arse and many others. It is only because he is Roy Keane and an Utd player which attracts so much controversy and ABU wants the worst to happen to him and Utd. you know!!!
He's only a great player who wished to tell the world what he thinks and about his life, and has not considered the political correctness aspect. It's not fair to him when he is now tried by the public.... much like the case in King Eric when everybody (ABU) is calling for his head. Keane has aleady been punished for the foul and served his ban. Speaking about it in a book should recieve no more punishment as it only means you cant be honest! REvenge on the football pitch is hardly a rarity it is just his being honest about it and coming out with the clarity of it that is now hurting him! That's not justice!
There are many hypocrites out there, and KEano is certainly not one!! he's a hardman on the pitch, but hardly play dirty unlike many!!
I enjoy the book a lot and recommend to anyone!!
