IMO, he should be the never be dropped for this season unless he's firing a lot of blanks.

Give him a start for every game!

Was reading this month's official United mag and there was a Q&A with gary neville and he was asked "do the United players surf the net a lot" and gaz said ole surfs about 23 hours a day!

So by the law of averages he's probably visited this site, he may even be among us right now, so give him a big hello everybody!! ;)

After last season, I'm surprised this is still a question for debate.

Anyroad - the comment about him firing blanks the match before he was dropped is total bollocks. No striker scores in every game. Did Ruud score in Hungary?

He proved last season that he was worthy of a starting place. His amount of goals from starts compared to those from the bench should be enough to prove that he isn't only a super-sub.

But he is the best we have at coming off the bench, and if that is the best option so be it. As long as he is recognised as a successful striker whether from the bench or not is the main thing imo.

It's not whether he starts or comes on as a sub that is the issue - it's the myth that he can't perform over 90 minutes that should be laid to rest. It's an insult.

IMO Ole is a true red as any other striker with a scoring record similar to his will have walked out of OT lond time ago. Lest we forget ... he was even cosidered our 4th choice striker at one point. Ole is one of the best finishers in Europe (look at his goals per minute played) and yet never complains when substituted. I've seen strikers half his worth throwing shirts at their manager and spitting out at them just for being substituted.
Long live Ole and please SAF - don't make him your scapegoat anymore. I'm sure he can score 25+ goals if given a first team place regularly. Problem is that we contnue to play with this insensible 4-4-1-1 that leaves RVN frustrated and our midfielders running into each other.
 
Ole's my kind of player; does his talking with his boots, just look at the kids stats- phenom!

Sometimes doesnt deliver but usually when that happens its the whole team thats not delivering not just him.

Compare him with Ruud this season.....

Ole has proved time and time again that he IS the best striker in the premiership if not in Europe with not only the results he show on the field but also his professional attitude towards the team and the manager. To me he has already become a true legend. Keep up the good work Ole. Bring up back the EPL title and the CL Cup!!
