Redcafe Forum Running Slow

I'm having trouble today on redcafe, This forum is really slow today takes about 90 seconds for me to login & the same for a page load up, Sometimes pages don't load up & I ends up getting an error, This does not happen to any of the sites my wife/kids use, Help please :cool:
 
welcome to the caf, it has always been like this whenever we lose or are trying to sign somebody.
 
Even newsnow.co.uk is struggling with the traffic today.

Hmmm, I've notived this as well today. And infuriatingly it's happened on Transfer Deadline day, when I want to be able to panic on the Transfer Forum. What a ghastly and unfortunate coincidence! :(
 
Don't worry Tommy there are a thousand others in the same situation. And most of them are probably smashing their computer to bits in a transfer muppet rage.

Has anyone considered hosting the cretin magnet threads on another small server? Surely it's not worth crippling the whole board because of 1 stupid thread?

Just a thought.

Im not worried just losing me patience regarding it being so slow today, I know for sure it has anything to do with my pc, Like i said all other websites are quite fine, Just redcafe at the minute & getting the network timeout errors all the time
 
Always happens whenever something big occurs/is about to occur.

Last time it was like this for me was after we beat Barca at OT.

It would help making the transfer forum only available to view to members but I'm sure that thread and today's events are bringing a lot of people to the site which is probably a good thing for the Niall.
 
The server isn't coping with the traffic quite as well as we've hoped for.
Expect slowness until the transfer window closes tonight.

Yes, it's more or less only because of the transfer.

No different than when lots of people come on after a match - only this is even worse, as every single member is on the Caf at once, and everyone keeps refreshing their browser every 5th second which really takes it torn on the server.

I'm actually surprised we've been able to access the site as much as we have today.

It's not just the Caf - Sky Sports and Newsnow has taken ages to load as well all day.

Reet now I understands abit more, I thought you was onabout traffic as in road traffic or something, I'm a pc virgin at the end of the day :lol: Took me fecking yonks to get use to finding the letters on the keyboard, Im thick as feck at the end of the day :wenger:

I was mate honestly, Look's bloody well when i had to have my 9 year old daughter teaching me about pc's & stuff
