Happened across this while browsing Netflix so streamed them in order over three nights.

feck me that was some bleak stuff but cracking to watch. Great acting and production although the story was quite hard to follow in places and dialogue was a bit too accented that I reckon yanks will need subtitles!

How fecking grim was the North made to look? Christ! Any older posters here think it was accurate? The bloke who played the Yorkshire Ripper was fecking chilling. His interrogation was an epic scene. I was only young when he was doing his business but this film did a good job of showing how scary his exploits were.

Quite a few plot holes but I may give the books a go to answer all that.

Life On Mars is kids stuff compared!

I saw it on Channel 4 pobably about 2 years ago now. It was grim alright but extremely far-fetched I thought.

each episode was also about 30 minutes to long of cinematography masturbation.

Just added to my Instant Queue.

Netflix is blinding. I found series one of A Bit of Fry & Laurie the other day. I never really liked it, but it's impressive that Netflix has it for me to stream if I fancy.

I also recently got Get Carter and The Wild Geese DVDs. If their stock price wasn't over $100 I'd get some in as it's going to get even better I reckon.
