Anyone seen it? Brilliant flick. Probably the movie of the year contender for me.

4.5 star out of 5.

Imho, this tops even Lord Of The Ring for bettter storytelling. Based on the famous "Romance Of The Three Kindom" and overall, a good story of battle of wits and war.

Part 2 been released in Asia recently. UK and America getting a edited 2.5 hour version.

I'm a fanboy all of my life, it's like when the yanks seen Superman for the very first time.

Regardless, it's a soulless popcorn flick. And a damn good one.

The real story was much more meaningful, and Cao Cao was not the villain he was described in the movie.

The real story is much better.

As movies go though, Red Cliff is excellent. Part 1 was very entertaining.

I've ordered Part 2 on DVD
