any recomendations?

I dunno if you like Tennis, but Top Spin 3 is brilliant. Probably the most realistic sports game I've played.

Thinking to get one of DIRT or GRID. (Racing games)

Loved Colin Mcrae Rally and enjoy that kind of racing but GRID seems a bit more modern and on roads - the main point it has the option of a two player mode I believe. What's the online modes like and the long-term playability of these two games?

It is a good game, but i have a question about the game?

I have played the demo and the shots that are played are so damn slow, but i have seen a video which was given in the demo featuring roddick and the shots were almost realistic.

Question is: Are the shots that are played in the real game heavier (meaning hitting them harder)?

Don't want to pay so much for what is essentially a demo, something wrong about that.

I've tried waiting but I'm not so sure I can last a year, if it is even released in 2009 that is.

It is hard enough waiting for the new FIFA.

Yeah, it's spot on, IMO. There are quite a few tricks to hitting the ball, if you don't time it perfectly it looks pretty tame.

i bought it thinking it was the real thing

still good you can pick it up for a tenner and should put you on till the real thing

why not download for free ? thats what i do

PS3? You can't download GT5 Prologue for free or other PS3 games though can you...

Other demos you can, I have downloaded a few, GRID was actually one of them. It was okay, not the most technical racing game and a bit more like the NFS series in one sense - not sure whether I'd get bored of the game rather quickly.

how do you do this?

When I said I, I meant my brother. :D

You can download them straight from the PS3, not sure where, I'm guessing the PS Store  I will ask and get back later if nobody else confirms.

I've had a few others like Bourne Conspiracy as well but they are only small demos.

yes you can download games for every console :D but your console has to be modded so that the download games can work.

In my opinion, you should get the following immediately:

Oblivion
Oblivion
Oblivion
Oblivion

Any of the above will satisfy you eternally.

I thought Oblivion was shit. Running in a big field with people who talk like they are in a shakespear play, into towns that all look the same doing pointless quests looking for herbs to make into potion thats effects are to turn water into water, getting kiled everytime you go somewhere your not meant to despite there being no signs anywhere to say dont go there, and even when you try to leave the guards who are always magically there block your way and beat you to death before you can apologise.

Anyway, I tried so so hard to get into oblivion, but got too bored.

Im really enjoying Army of Two, although on the 360. Would imagine it would be similar on the PS3, you know it being the same game and all.

i played morrowwind for a bit and just found myself running around and dicking about, there were hundreds of nothing places with nothing people that all looked the same and talked stupid. boring

Just a warning, despite it being a watered-down version of Morrowind, Oblivion still isnt for everyone. But if you like your open-world D&D RPGS then you'll easily clock 100+ hours of gametime on oblivion (and obviously more with the expansions)

But for £16.99 you can't go wrong. I only played Morrowind for a few hours (A great few hours it was), because the disc had been scratched to death by my brother.

I thoroughly enjoyed Oblivion though, and am looking forward to Fallout 3. (October is going to be an expensive month)

Still haven't made my mind up about that game. I'm scared that Bethseda are just going to destroy the franchise by making a Sci-fi Oblivion to simply appeal to the console-gamers. I'll most likely buy it though anyway, it's hardly a game by EA.

You really hate EA don't you?

From what I've seen I'm looking forward to it, hopefully they will release a demo onto PSN before it goes on sale so I can try it out.

LBP is where it's at though:D

Tbh im not really warming to this game either lol, still looks like a Wii game to me :p

I wasn't crazy on it at first, but then I found out it was a PS3 exclusive.

Joke!

I loved the look of this game ever since I first saw it, something completely different from what is out at the moment and it will be heaps of fun.
