<a href="http://www.tribalfootball.com/september/italnews1190902.html" target="_blank">Inter resume interest in Ryan Giggs</a>

Almost certainly bollocks, but if it were true, I think it would be a good deal. We've had Giggzy's best years out of him, and we need an inventive forward.

TribalBollocks just added about 9 stories. 5 of them had no quotes. At least three we're utter fabrications.

Why do people show an interest in this site.

One of them pissed me off, saying Ruud's having a woeful season. He's scored 3 and its still very early season. Its the Italian press that suck, Tribal just regurgitates it. Anyway, would you swap Giggs for Recoba?

Right now? I probably would.

Noticed how they've dragged up the Escude stuff too? Idiots.

Recoba looks to me to be the sort of forward we need, and Giggzy's going to have to go through a difficult transition to a player that doesn't rely on pace. Ginola struggled, and he was a better crosser and striker of the ball than Giggs. Giggs is also injured too much, Duff and Recoba would add a lot to our team in terms of breaking through defences.

Recoba's wages would be a stumbling point.

He's on a ridiculous amount at Inter. In fact, I'm not sure, but, I think he's the highest paid player in Italy if not Europe.

No, that would be AS Roma my friend.

Right now I would definitely consider offers for Giggs. However, don't think Recoba would do it for us. He is not a 90 minutes player and just shows sparks of his brilliance which is somehow the same problem we are having with Giggs.

Even if that weren't the case, Recoba doesn't like playing on the left and his bust-ups with Cuper have been exactly over that. Now, if you want him to play upfront or as link-up he can add something (intermittently) but you would still have to find a left winger.

He was, till he offered to take a 10% cut. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

What's so funny? Do you think 10% would be anything but a minor dent in Becks' finances?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Giggsy ended up in Serie A for the twilight of his career. Apparently, he's always had a liking for Italy and I read an article a while back that said he watched Serie A religiously on his satellite TV.

If we get a good offer and Giggsy decides he'd like to go, I don't see a problem with it at all. Much as I'd miss him I do agree that maybe we've seen the best of him.

Anyone remember ages ago when United and AC Milan had discussions about a swap deal involving Giggsy (+ ? - maybe Dinny) and Maldini (+ ?) ? It was before the internet boom and had some validity.

why do you lads come out with this crap?

United's success has been built on the local lads who have made it good -- Giggs being one of the most prominent among them. It has been mixed with a bit of flare and grit when necessary (Eric, Keano), but the core is the lads who have grown up together.

(And if you don't believe me, ask Keano -- he clearly agrees, if you read his book).

So get Recoba by all means. But why the hell would Fergie sell someone he has brought up, almost as a father, in order to bring in a player whose wages are the highest in the world?

We are not Chelsea. We are not Arsenal. We are Manchester United, and we do not flog our best loyal players just for the sake of bringing in someone who can't speak English.

Raoul, you would have loved to see him tearing Fluminense apart last weekend!

Well Inter have got the cash after a few minor sales this summer. Ronaldo, Seedorf.
If they did buy him, i'd rather go for a cash deal and use the money to prize Duff away from Blackburn or maybe even Kewell from Leeds

people! i know ryans having a bit of a bad spell! but for fecks sake, he is the last player we should be thinking about selling! he is the main stay of our team, and you are saying he should be sold! i have 2 things to say to you people! feck Off!

the first was feck the second Off, i didnt write it properly

So you have two things to say:

1) feck
2) Off
