I'm nearly at the end of The Wire boxset, I've done all of the Sopranos and 24 is 'same old, same old' these days.

Can the Caf recommend me something to get my teeth into? I love lengthy dramas with good actors. Is Mad Men any good? That's by the same guy who wrote Sopranos, isn't it?

Prison Break.

It gets a bit tiresome towards the end of the series but it's still excellent.

Some great actors in it, namely William Fichtner and Robert Knepper.

Seasons 2, 3 and 4 of Prison Break were average at best. Season 1 was pretty much a masterpiece.

Season 1 was right up there with the likes of 24, Dexter and Shield.

Absolutely brilliant. Season 2 was not bad either.

Season 2 was great as well. Season 3 was a waste of time IMO and season 4started out really well, kind of went weird in the middle then ended in decent fashion.

Season 1 though was probably the greatest season of any TV show I've ever seen.

Entourage

Very funny, if you've seen it then watch it again.

UNDERBELLY

It’s a 13-part Australian television mini-series, retelling the real events of the 1995–2004 gangland war in Melbourne.

If you like the first series you can watch series 2 which is also based on real events that stemmed from the marijuana trade centred on the New South Wales town of Griffith.
Link Underbelly - TV Shack

Saying that these mini series are good would be an understatement!

And this, however I have to say that this:

Is true.

The West Wing

Definitely this, watched it more times than I can count and watching it again now.
