Over the last 3 weeks we have been linked with (according to media, so called tier 1 etc) Branthwaite, Olise, Yoro, Zirkzee as the leading four, yet other reports state Branthwaite will cost too much, Olise off to Munich, Yoro wants no one but Madrid and we havent even bid for Zirkzee, so its the same old shit.
Are we going down the same route as always where we are linked with a number of players we have no chance of getting if others are in for them as well, or are we being priced out now we have no money apparently?

Why should it be different than in previous seasons? The people who should change that are still taking care of their gardens, not of United.

Most rumours flying around currently are clickbait - until the Euros are finished it’s very unlikely that there will be many deals.

Players like Olise that are not involved will get done but I don’t think we were ever in for him seriously anyway.

Maybe we are focusing on shifting players out first. Greenwood, AWB, Casimero, Lindelof - then we know what we’ve got to spend.

Got to say though, all very underwhelming so far.
