    uhh. check the travelling squad..

Losing to Sociedad would be the low point since Fergie retired.

Loaning out two players in January seems like a typical United thing to do. Now we have 3 attackers to chose from, and all 3 are in terrible form.
Feels like this is being said about any match who isn't against the "top 6" teams...

Well. We must do with what we have, and we are not alone at having striker problems. Arsenal fans are fuming, that they let young prospect Mika Bierith go for 4 milion to be Højlunds replacement in Austria. He transferred to Monaco in January and has 10 goals in his first 7 games, which is the fastest 10 ever in Ligue 1 (Zlatan had 9). They are, like us, crying out for a striker right now. Monaco only payed 13 million euros.

We can beat Real Sociedad with this squad, if they only decide to show up.

This is my team for tomorrow if everyone is fit:

    Onana
    Mazraoui-De Ligt-Yoro
    Garnacho-Collier-Casemiro-Dorgu
    Bruno-Eriksen
    Højlund

If Ugarte can play i would go with Ugarte-Casemiro in the pivot.

Neither Rasmus nor Zirkzee are dangerous in front of goal as of lately, but Rasmus is the better presser and eventually he will score again.

Zirkzee, Dalot, Lindelof and Heaven from the bench to replace tired legs at 60-70 minutes.

League is gone since October, we will finish the lowest since 1974 so EL is all that remains. I would take a 0-7 to Arsenal if we get past Sociedad.

More Injuries again by looks of it, I'm not expecting much I don't think many are, and to be honest there quite a few who are now fed up with how the clubs being run , results we hope will be better , we can't score goals ,concede piss poor efforts , seem to control a game for no longer than 5 to 10 mins ..

Have a GK who a total liability. So if utd get a positive result I be thankful but surprised.

Probably happy to go fairly defensive here and pack the midfield:

    Yoro
    MDL
    Heaven

    Dalot
    Dorgu

    Collyer
    Eriksen
    Casemiro

    Bruno

    Zirkzee

A lack of pace but that’s a general issue with our side currently. Wouldn’t be averse to playing Garnacho at RWB but that’s completely unrealistic so have tried to stick to something more plausible.

Play garnacho to have any chance of getting a result. He may be frustrating at times but he’s the only one that looks like he wants to get at the opposition and can cause problems.

Small injuries for Ugarte / Maguire and couldn't risk them in this game as could be out for longer if they trained or played in this match said Ruben in the Press conference this evening.

    Onana
    Yoro De Ligt Mazraoui
    Dalot Ugarte Bruno Dorgu
    Eriksen Garnacho
    Hojlund

Most of you want to include Zirkzee, but he was WINDED after playing the full time for the past 2 games. The guy was GASSED, could have seen he was going to miss his penalty.

Will dropping Rasmus help? Will a different player start to get some service? Hojlund certainly hasn't. Eriksen seems to play on the European nights, maybe the pace of the game is more to his liking...

    Sun Casemeiro for Ugarte...

Was hoping for Obi to play, but now that is out the window then cant see anything but a defeat. 3-1, Hojlund to get a lucky bounce of the ball and break his duck.

What’s worse the kid that might have been a threat wasn’t even listed to UEFA, no pace from the bench no Jack Moorehouse, No MUSA, No Mantata and No Jack Fletcher but yet again 7 subs, 2 fewer than allowed and two goalkeepers, he’s really telling the hierarchy how bad this squad is but he’s not helping himself either, Harry Amass might get a chance maybe?

    Onana
Yoro - De Ligt - Heaven
    Dalot - Casemiro - Bruno - Mazaroui
    Dorgu Garnacho
    Hoijlund

If Maguire is doubtful, I'd like to see a back 3 of Maz rcb, MDL cb and Yoro lcb, with Dalot rwb and Dorgu lwb.

I think playing rcb would suit Mazraoui better than wing back where he hasn't particularly taken to. I also hope Dalot can show a bit of attacking verve as a rwb, unless Ruben decides to be clever and play him and Dorgu inverted again.

Ugarte and Bruno midfield. Front 3 is a joke but it looks like it has to be Garnacho, Zirkzee, Hojlund.

Unless he wants to do something different like play Casemiro beside Ugarte, have Bruno as left 10 and have Garnacho on the bench to bring on, where he usually has a bigger impact.

The options are so, so shit.

Edit, have just seen Ugarte is not available, it gets worse!

    How good are Sociedad?

Don't know a hell of a lot about them, but looks like they're having an inconsistent season in la liga. Currently mid table. They don't seem to draw a lot of games, they lose almost as many as they win. So despite United being allergic to Spanish teams, I'd fancy a decent United team to beat them.

However with the squad currently at our disposal, they should beat us. And I suspect they're prioritising the Europa League, they'll fancy their chances of winning it if they knock us out.

I'd be happy to see Amass come on, however, I'd imagine if anything happened to Dorgu, Amorim would probably just move Dalot or Mazraoui there and bring on Heaven or Lindelof instead. I do think that Kamason should be in the squad. I believe his profile really suits what we want in a right wing-back.

Think the club are regretting choosing to register Fletcher instead of Chido Obi. Frustrating we can't use him when our forward options are awful
