I don`t know why anyone on this board (Red Devil that is) would even contemplate such thought or talk as `If we don`t win the title then better Arsenal than Liverpool`.

But some Red Devils have that mentality and let me say, you should not bother wasting energy best spend on supporting the greatest football team in the world let alone England, on Arsenal. It`s all a bit like deja vu at the moment except we don`t have a feeling we have seen something before - we know we have seen it before. Remember the 1998-1999 season? It wasn`t that long ago!

For me if Manchester United don`t win the title then whoever wins it doesn`t really matter very much at all. Personally I don`t think Liverpool will win it. Stifling the opposition in Europe by virtually standing still for the entire game does not tend to win points in the Premier League.

Although teams have to be more canny at tactics nowadays, Manchester United have proved time and time again that you can be tactically aware and still play attacking football that goes out to win the game.

As for Arsenal, I don`t have strong feelings of dislike for them. I dislike the fact that they never acknowledge that their way of playing can be really dirty at times but their football can be interesting to watch. I find Patrick Veiri a bloody good player but I don`t like the media comparisons between him and Roy Keane. For a start Roy is never anonymous in matches as Patrick can be, and he also lacks Veiri`s petulance and disloyalty.

Manchester United are looking like they did in the 1998-99 season and that is fantastic news. Are Arsenal supporters scared? You bet!

Just browse some of their message boards. I first looked at their boards around the time Sol Campbell joined them and 99% of the board messages were scared cries of oh no, he is not gay, he can`t be gay, he is now an Arsenal player, oh no, no, no, not true ... ad nauseum.

Now the messages are more bluster and bluff or plain scared - about Arsenal`s (increasingly slim) chances of winning the Premier League. Way to go Arsenal!
