RAWK Goes Into Lockdown 24/25 Edition - Famous European nights at Anfield are like Quadruples, imaginary!

i can finally stop watching football for the rest of the season

league is wrapped up don't care about the tinpot cup

this squad is fraudulent, diaz, nuñez, jota, jones are not good enough players to be european champions

Not rawk, but saw this on reddit.
Weirdly he is right though.

Which gives everyone else all the ammunition they need to shit-talk them when they only win the title (and the Carabao) this season. Especially City and United fans

When it went to pens I felt for sure it was Liverpools with the amount of practice they’ve had at em this season.

We are 20-8 in penalties. Slot didn’t get the memo. Damm

Hopefully the start of a decline for them after this season, unbelievable how much they lucked out on Salah, not only bought him on the cheap, but that he’s still putting in a record breaking season at this point in his career. Not easy to replace him, and likewise VVD and Allison.

Why did Van Donkey not step up to take a penalty, the scummy scouser were creaming themselves at the penalty he scored in the league cup final a couple of years ago, has he not got the stones to do it on a big stage?
Clearly not

I think it was obvious over two legs that PSG have much better footballers. This team with no van Dijk,l or Salah could be very average indeed.

Salah leaves without every really having that iconic game at Europe’s top table.

Unfortunately the departure of the gift that was Darwin Nunez will be a massive shot in the arm.

One of the best things about Liverpool getting knocked out of the CL is that there’s a brief pause in the relentless torrent of BBC articles gushing over them. If they’d managed to beat a highly rated PSG last night there’d probably be several more articles asking whether this Liverpool team is the greatest of all time ever ever

Walked straight outside to finish demo on the shed. Felt good to swing a sledgehammer after that. Nothing left but to enjoy winning the league.
Aw

How awful for you only having the Premier League trophy to enjoy

First Donnarumma crushes England hopes at the Euro final at Wembley and now he knocks Liverpool out of the champions league at Anfield. He might be my favourite non United player ever.

I've just watched the live reaction of Fester to the penalties, and feck me I've never known anyone so monotone and devoid of any kind of passion when watching a football match (on the telly, in your spare bedroom) not one ounce of tension.

Also, what sad cnuts are sending him fecking money while he's doing this?

Salah looked close to tears at the final whistle, it was glorious.

How he doesn't get pulled up for diving i'll never know, insufferable little smug whopper.

It's rife on YouTube, people send money for any old shit these days. I see on some streams people donating hundreds and even thousands for no reason. Fair play to them I suppose!

If you have that money to throw away, surely you'd just pay for a streaming service and watch the game yourself.

Or do people watch this crap along with watching the game?

I find the whole watchalong thing to be very bizarre, even more so if they are throwing money at these guys like, it's like some kind of weird football babestation.

Its incredibly weird... its literally watching commentary without watching the game.

If I am watching it on TV, I dont want someone narrating it.. I have never understood watchalongs but there seems to be plenty of them about.

I would think that they'd keep them in separate tabs (or have this guy ramble on your computer/phone while the game is on TV) simultaneously. It's not the worst thing in principle — you're basically getting your own commentary track that you like instead of the one that is forced on you by the broadcaster... in practice though, I can't imagine why you'd put on this guy or someone like Goldbridge (I think he does the same thing for United games? Not sure).

To be fair you've just described one of the most successful and longest running football shows on Sky Sports.

I agree and I've never understood why people watched Soccer Saturday either.

I quite often have Goldbridge on in my headphones while watching a game on TV. You don't necessarily have to spend money you can just comment in the chat box while it's live.

He does a review afterwards which I can stomach more than the drivel on Sky Sports as they argue over where the bloody line is for a free kick for half an hour..

I'd might understand it, if the guys were remotely interesting to listen to, but this Liverpool ham and Goldbridge are just too annoying to look at or listen to.

Maybe there are some good ones.

Don't know how anyone can listen to or look at that guy without wanting to punch something.
