The new Pavon or new Ramos? Have Madrid found yet another gem?

Has been impressive since his debut, his assist for Mbappe tonight was great.
 
He’s a creative type of defender for sure. Has an eye for a pass, but wouldn’t be surprised if his creativity goes beyond that, into cinematography say, as a random example.

He’s also really unselfish and always looking for opportunities to bring his teammates in and share..the ball.

But it can go either way at this point. He might be a Madrid player for years, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they upgraded on him and sold him to some other team. Maybe outside Spain. Marseille?

In September 2023, Asencio and three other Real Madrid Castilla and Real Madrid C players – Ferran Ruiz, Juan Rodríguez and Andrés Garcia were arrested over allegations that two of the players had filmed and distributed a video of a sexual encounter involving an adult woman and a minor who had not consented to the recording. Asencio was alleged to have accessed the video and to have distributed it to another person. In January 2025, Spanish sports website Relevo reported that Asencio was no longer under investigation in the case.[9] However, in February 2025, an appeal by Asencio's lawyers to end the investigation was rejected by a court in Gran Canaria, and Asencio remains indicted on child pornography charges.
 
"An adult woman and a minor". If the minor is 16-17, calling it child pornography is very deceptive. If he's 15 or under, now it's a bigger deal. Asensio is a dick for sharing the video though.
