I’m trying to remember which film director said it, but someone said how they had to cut the scene that was their personal favourite, as it ended up not helping the film as a whole - Manchester United are now surely at this point with Rashford and Bruno.
I’m absolutely furious that Marcus Rashford ‘earned’ over £300,000 for that performance! What an absolute disgrace! He is a player who arrived at the right club at the right time - just good enough during a period of crisis to appear like the next Golden Boy. He has NEVER seen that potential through and at his age he is a dangerous combination of lazy, skilful and lacking in basic footballing intelligence! His decision making is an absolute joke and any goalscoring he does is always in blocks of good form, followed by dross!
We fell for it last season when he was playing for a new contract but, the second that ink was dry, he’s reverted back to type; lazy off the ball, poor in his body language, and arguable our most frustrating player.
If it wasn’t for the fact that I wouldn’t trust the club to use the money for a proper improvement, I’d have him sold at the next opportunity, Manchester United needs to unshackle itself from the Cult of Rashford!
Likewise for Bruno, for all his creative stats, we simply can never control a midfield battle with him in the starting line-up. He’s too rash, ill-disciplined tactically and far too quick to pull off the Hollywood assist to keep possession and pressure against the opposition defensive unit.
It would take balls of steel for ETH to ship them out, but he’d have my full support to do it for the betterment of United as a whole.
