I bought a FM/DAB/Internet radio for my radioholic wife's birthday, and then it struck me that its ability to play basically any radio station in the world might be of interest to myself. So, give me some good stations/podcasts that I can add to favourites. I want weird music and in-depth shows about science, history and current events. In English or Swedish (I've got Norway covered). Strictly no Danish.

I actually think I was too a few minutes ago. Sounded interesting, but I was in station hopping mode, so I had to move on.

You can get them on iPlayer for free anyway. They play a good mix and have me laughing with their banter. Radcliffe is a City fan though.

Pillory, you'd probably like Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone on BBC 6 music.

He plays a bunch of obscure stuff every week. It's a good show.
