Can we have one?

We have a quick reply and it's only logical that we have an ajax based quick edit (useful when you misspell one word or realize you have a tiny grammatical error).

I suppose it could take some load off the server as well.
 
It's a united forum, not ajax.

I suggest we remove the editing function. Such a system would mean people would concentrate on getting the post grammatically and analytically correct the first time. No second chances would mean less mistakes.

You see Raoul, if you had the quick fix editing system you could quickly edit out your mistake of not seeing the white text in Karels post.

Yeah but alot of posters including myself would look like bigger spastics!
 
Does Niall actually have control over the script / the motivation to change it? I presumed vBulletin just came pre-packaged and you got what you were given?

Yes. It's an option in the admin panel.
