Rushdie fans, Hitchens haters, any questions for them?

I'm going for a 'Christopher Hitchens talks to Salman Rushdie' thing in a couple of hours. I'm guessing they'll take questions later.

Anything?
 
Isn't Hitchens a friend of Rushdie? I know he's an admirer at least. Could be quite a good talk that. Would be interesting to raise the topic of the Iraq as I know they both have polarizing opinions on it. Although I imagine that topic will take centre stage alongside religion and Rushdies fatwa anyhow. There's so much you could ask Rushdie to be honest, sure you will think of something!
 
Hitchens is a first rate public speaker.

Nevertheless I actually think she's ugly.

My question would be

"How grateful are you that idiot of an Ayatollah declared the fatwa against you, and made you bigger than you really ever should have been?"
 
Considering he won the Booker prize 7 years before his Fatwa...what is your issue with him?
