Tommy Bamford.

But according to my book (because, surprisingly enough, I didn't know the answer), he scored first, and Hull equalised, but we hung on.

She hasn`t answered the second question which if you read the thread is Next question:Who was Newton Heaths first match against in 1889 Sept 21st?
