Get over it kid, Big Petes moved onto bigger things - a Massive career change to be honest in all respects . . .

I still think pete is a legend and ill always respect him for how he served us, but on that derby day those images of him jumping up and down punching the air, pretty much rubbing it in the utd fans face's when gary messed up and goater scored, and then at the end of the match. Ill never forget those things or forgive him for that day, but it doesnt mean i hate him or dislike him, hes still the legend

Yeah that's right
I expected the guy to burst into tears, possibly boot the ball into his own net just to help the club for which he was once an employee
Mmmmmmmm

arent you the one who constantly posts about how crap Veron is etc, im beggining to think your a bit bitter we got him in the first place
Do you support West Ham is it?
Heres an example ok, say, heaven forbid, you have a succesful run and say...Defoe, helps you to all these tropheys and what not etc., fair anough. But then he leaves west ham, goes abroard, comes back, and plays for your local rivals, and on derby day when your beaten, humiliatingly (even a word?), jumps up and down punching the air and basically taking the piss, do you still have the ultimate, up most respect for him that you did while he was playing for west ham
i dont know if you are west ham supporter or liverpool, so excuse the example

No, but Dennis was 100% committed like big pete too, i guess pete was acknowledging the magnitude of the result and what it meant as a sign of citys survial hopes in the Prem.
Still, id rather he not have celebrated tho, but that dont make me a dipper, arse or whatever fan, just makes me care i guess....

Thank you sir, at last someone see's my point. I was beggining to feel alone

Dennis' backheel didnt send us into division 2. The scoreline was irrelevant as the other team that had to lose - won. We would have gone down anyway.

Also, i heard gary nev. blanked him before the game aswell, so obviously he doesnt respect him as much. Assuming he really did blank him and its not just paper talk.

It was true, I saw it on TV when they were getting ready to enter for the match, Gary Neville was so focussed he blanked him and I was dissapointed about that.

You can't blame Peter for ending up at City, he won everything with us and wanted a new challenge. A lot of people seem to have forgotten he was at Lisbon and Villa before City. The way some people talk it like he moved to City straight from us.
He's a united legend, always will be.
What happened on Derby day happened. C'est la vie.
