Right so i bought my 360 when i was on holiday in the summer in thailand. I'd been playing fake games but the shop i bought em from have stopped selling them. Now my cousin brought over a game of his, which is original. Stuck it in and wrong region code error message just came up. I've now realised that the model i have is NTSC J. The only NTSC games they sell in Dubai are NTSC U. Anyway i can get my console to play em?

Yeah, you should be careful about buying foreign consoles because you'll probably end up having to import the games to play on it, or find a shop in Dubai that sells imported games. Try ebay.
Seeing as you have no problem with pirated software you may aswell just burn your own

Just a suggestion uae, dont play online games with fake games. If they catch you, they will ban your console motherboard permanently.

I would expect so for the XB360 due to where its main market is - the USA. I doubt that they make any Japan only games for it or release games in Japan first.

Yeh. i know suprised me to. But if you go on Xbox live, and look at japanese peoples Accounts, they have loads of Exclusive games. Is Odd.

So they can charge higher prices to Europeans.

The same reason as they do so with films. So they can release at different times in different regions, release different versions for different regions and prices. They will tell you that it also helps to stop piracy, but it doesn't.
