Queiroz lines up exchange deal

Queiroz, a former manager of Sporting and with a wealth of International experience and contacts, has been involved in a player exchange programme with Sporting Lisbon.

He said "The availability and good will for an agreement exists,

"I think that now, in a short space of time, there will be official proposals between the two clubs so we can put an agreement together."

Such an agreement could see United youth and reserve players being farmed out to Sporting to gain experience, much like with Royal Antwerp, as well as getting first refusal on young portuguese talents like highly rated Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Quaresma

With such good news like this, its hard to imagine that UNITED are "finished" and "going downfall"

;)

This would probably be the "biggest" link up then if it really happen ...
Funny though ... it's normally a BIG-SMALL kind of relationship ... with the BIG guy normally get the upper hand over the SMALL club. ... but still benefiting them in certain sense... Ss far as Lisbon is concern ... I don't think they will take themselves as SMALL ... so where does this come from ? ... COmmercial partnership ( the only one I think make sense) ?

They're all small compared to us. ;)

Every club wants a bit of our money, and the Portuguese clubs don't hold on to their players for long, but just as good as getting their young players is farming out our youngsters to them where they can develop the technique and ball control that they have.

Sounds like a great idea, how would the partnership work ? Who benefits most
