Was given two of their songs in a CD of assorted artists, the songs being Eyes Of A Stranger and Silent Lucidity and I like those a lot

What's your opinion on them Caf metalheads? Any album of theirs worth getting hands on?

Aside from Opeth, Dream Theater and do an extent Bodom, I haven't bothered listening to any of the new-ish metal bands

Cannibal Corpse are pretty old and pretty shit. Dream Theater aren't new either. And Bodom are a very different metal band. Speed metal, although some might argue over this.

Queensryche are decent-ish. There's much better heavy metal there from that era. (Late 80's, early 90's)

Anything Death/Speed/Black is new for me. Metal ended with heavy metal Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, etc

Progressive ones like DT and Queensryche are fine...Opeth are good for the alternate song where the vocalist who can sing doesn't growl. Bodom are technically excellent, anyone can see that, but the growling is plain wrong

Of all the classic ones, only Maiden are the ones doing things half-decent. Megadeth with the Neville brothers' equivalent in music have been rubbish. Hopefully Metallica bring out one final good album until they jam drinking Snapple

The grape and mango equivalent of Tropicana are easily richer. The Tropicana Pineapple one takes the cake

Er...metal...well, I'm listening to the classic albums again. Number of the Beast currently...although I still rate Di Anno as a better singer than Bruce Dickinson

You're an ass.

Anyway, there's this particular brand of bottled iced tea that beats everything but I can't remember the friggin name of the damn thing.

Look I'm just good at these things. I'm horrible at remembering dates. I can't remember anyone's birthday. Even forgot my girlfriend's. But I'm great at lyrics and directions. Take me some place once and I can go there on my own next time. I've only been to bombay once and that was 7 years back, but I'm pretty sure I know the directions to all the places I visited. same with lyrics. I hear a song a few times and I just know the lyrics. It's obviously far easier with a slow song where you can easily make out what the fecker is saying.
