Akash:
1) Darren Ganga
Granted he did not have the talent and skill of Brian Lara but in his own little world Daren Ganga was a great of the game. His match winning innings of 71 against India in the final of the coca cola cup is the stuff of legends. Debates still rage on whether he deserved the MoM instead of Corey Collymore but that's for another day.
2) Regis Chakabva (WK)
One thing this guy does not lack is talent in abundance. Consistency has evaded him but with crap like Nikhil Chopra on the other side, he's going to have a feast and notch up his maiden ODI ton. He's probably the next Andy Flower albeit he's black and right handed.
3) Dipak Chudasama
As his name suggests, this guy fecks up the opposition like no one ever has before. Not only was he an excellent player but he was adaptable. He once nearly carried his bat against Pakistan with a strike rate of 30 odd while batting with the tail. Against Bangladesh a couple of games later, he scored at over 100. Tales of that innings are still passed around among the shepherds of the Masai Mara.
4) Ben Hollioake (Allrounder)
Alec Stewart once called him the most gifted player he had ever played with. In only his debut game for England, he tore apart McGrath and Warne with a 43 ball 68. He was the youngest Englishman to make his test debut at 19, further proof of his undoubted talent that was cut tragically short. Also a very handy bowler.
5) Hemang Badani
A very talented player who shone to limelight with an unbelievable 100 against a very impressive Australian attack. A couple of years he later he made an excellent 60 against the likes of Lee and Gillespie at a pacy MCG. Consistency let him down but an average of over 30 makes him the best batsman in the match.
6) Guy Whittal (Allrounder)
An absolute disgrace that he's been picked in this draft. Zimbabwe's premier all rounder at a time when they were actually good. Almost a 100 wickets and over 2000 runs in ODI. Extremely useful in the middle overs both while batting and bowling.
7) Minhajul Abedin (Allrounder)
Ex Bangladesh skipper and played in their first ever ODI team. He's best known for a courageous and gritty 50 in the 1999 world cup against the likes of Mcgrath and Warne. He followed that up with a very good spell of bowling when Bangladesh beat Pakistan in the WC which was their first win against a test playing country.
8) H S Baidwan (Bowler)
Very unlucky to be Indian is probably what it will say on his headstone were he a catholic. Very talented Candaian player who's best bowling performances were against the Test playing nations.
9) Tahir Naqqash (Opening Bowler)
It's hard to put into words how good this guy is. Cricinfo and Wiki couldn't manage it so I'm not going to try. Just remember that if you're fast bowler whos managed to break into Pakistan team then you're dman fecking good.
10) Arshad Ayub (Spinner)
A very solid spinner who was discarded way too early from the Indian team. His best figures of 5-21 against Pakistan is a good indication of his level of talent and what hes going to do the opposing team.
11) Phil DeFrietas (Opening Bowler)
Like Guy Whittal, there's no way he should be in this draft. Best bowler in the draft by an absolute mile. Over a 100 wickets in over a 100 games for England at a very good average and economy rate. Could also smack it around a bit if needed.
Why I'll win:
Demonstrably better bowlers and batters across the team. The best batter, best allrounder, best spinner and the best bowlers are all in my team. This should be a fairly easy win all things considered.
