I couldn't decide if this belonged in the Vucinic thread or the De Rossi thread so I went with neither so if it needs to be moved then so be it..

Here is some muppetry at it's finest..

I was watching ESPN press pass earlier today and they said Alessandro Lucci admitted that while he did meet United reps they only briefly discussed Vucinic. I can't find a news article relating to that admission so I don't know if anyone else saw or heard it. Anyway, Lucci didn't say what they were meeting about but it seems he is also agent for a certain De Rossi. Therefore I predict we are indeed not after Wes at all but Daniele De Rossi.

Cocks out.

i wouldnt be surprised if de rossi was one of the 2/3 targets of which Gill spoke

I cant see Roma selling De Rossi though - aren't they on the way back with a big injection of cash

Alternatively, Roma could have been enquiring about Macheda or one of our other young players, even Berbatov. It'd be very much like the Veron transfer if we suddenly cashed in for £15m-£20m. That's exactly what Gill and Ferguson talk about when they say "resale value" it doesn't have to mean doing a Ronaldo and and making huge profit, just being able to cut your losses.

The meeting with the leaders of Manchester United was yesterday. It has only been a chat, in which no offers have been made nor was there an agreement sorted. The English club, however, really like Vucinic, but to see him with the shirt of the Red Devils, there is still work to do.

This is a quote taken from Sky Sports. Yes Vucinic's name is in there, and noooooo mention of Rossi

Edit: I'm pretty sure De Rossi's agent is actually Sergio Berti, so you are full of shit. Give Essien back his calculator

Citeh are also playing Inter in Dublin - Sneijder to sign for them then????

They're also playin Celtic so they'll be signing this lad aswell:

Indeed there is no mention of De Rossi, how often are players United sign actually discussed prior to signing unless it's all been agreed? With the exception of Yorkers I am hard pushed to remember a time.

However, if Berti is indeed De Rossi's agent then this doesn't work at all although in multiple news stories his agent is listed as Lucci. Either way my explanation makes far more sense than us meeting to discuss Vucinic. There is no way in a pink fit we are interested in Vucinic and if we were meeting agents we must have been discussing something of a transfer nature...it could be the sale of one ours but I don't see it.

I remember when we played Roma and Fergie was talking about their best players and mentioned De Rossi but not Totti.

Thank you for your intellectual input, I sincerely hope you didn't strain a brain cell with that one?

Cmon this is pure spasticulation. You're creating a situation out of sheer desperation to see a ***pable signing and forcing the issue on us. Where did this mention of Lucci as agent come from? Was it a reputable source? Even then, football agents have dozens of representatives. Are we signing Lucio as well?

Eh? De Gea and Young were massively discussed prior to signing, especially the former. Unless you mean by United representatives, in which case merely De Gea was massively discussed...

Silly thing to say.

Indeed they were, I meant as in discussed by United representatives openly. For example when has United ever come out and said...we are interested in signing player X?

Your spot on with De Gea, although you cant possibly tell me that wasnt already done before SAF made those comments?

No, just hypothesising. Last time I checked this was the transfer forum no? One would assume its the place we would discuss transfers?

No one is forcing the issue on you, if you dont like it dont read it. Same thing I do with many of the threads I have no interest in, its the joys of the internet.

Back to the issue at hand, I read it somewhere, cant find the site now..as I mentioned before. If he isnt his agent then the point is moot. As for Lucio, well I doubt we are in the market for him but if Lucci was his agent as well its possible.
