putting images in posts

i tried uploading to imageshack, that worked fine.

then when i went to put it in as a message attatchment it kept saying invalid file. it does give you about 5 different links, so as i wasnt sure which to use i tried them all seperately, yet none of them worked.

any ideas??

You don't attach it, you simply copy the [ IMG ]......[ / IMG ] text it gives you into your post.

Unless you've got photoshop or something similar i don't think you can resize it. Might be wrong though

if you want to make it smaller you can use thumbnails, Imageshack & Imagevenue allow thumbnails, not sure if Photobucket does though

If you are running XP, you can download the XP Powertoys from Microsoft one of which allows you to resize images:

Photobucket will not do it for you as give you the code to paste I don't think, but you can do it by a simple right click and copying the image location, or simply adding th_ on to the front of the filename.
