Well, I thought I'd male this thread since it's my favourite music :)

Starting with a few of my favourite songs






(I put them in spoilers so it's doesn't slow the page down too much)
 
Now Smashed seems to of fecked off i doubt there's many on here into this stuff.

I'm off to see The Lawrence Arms next month.
My favourite band of the genre would be Alkaline Trio, but they're utter wank on their last few albums - it's broken my heart :(

Good thread this. A lot of good bands have already been mentioned, but here are a few favourites off the top of my head that haven't.

Probably worth mentioning I'm in the library, so no idea of the sound on any of them actually works.

Just got back from watching a band called Bridge and Tunnel from New York. Seen them twice now, really great band. Anthemic punk with a huge, Sonic Youth-y kind of guitar sound. Don't sound anywhere near as good on record, but they're touring the UK right now with a (pretty shit) band called Young Livers so I'd say check em out if you get a chance
