James Pugh was a defender for Manchester United. He made 2 apperances between, 1921 and 1923.

A decent looking player in a position that looks dificult to get in to. Impressed greatly against Bournemouth on Saturday and is young enough that he could come in in a few years and may be used as cover (third choice) this season in lesser games - League Cup will probably be his only appearance, and only then if there are no 'first choice' midfielders in need of match experience following injury. A good prospect overall.

Normally plays at left back but has been known to play left wing as well.

I live around the corner from him. He is a good lad with a bright future. He is excellent cover and will get some games in the worthington cup no doubt. He will probably have to leave to find first team football tho.
He came on to the filed again last nite ... made a couple of stray pass but other than that, quite compose on ball - ... not on the field long enough to show his true quality though ..
He came out to take the left wing so I am quite confirmed now he's a left-sided players ... Just curious though, why Djordic not in Ajax but rather, playing in a 9-1 reserve win instead ?? I thought he should be very much the one up-coming as possible left-wing cover for us ... and didn't see the shadow of Webber+Davies too ... <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I find it weird too how Pugh who only played 12 reserve games last season has jumped up ahead of djordic and chadwick (where the feck is he, is he injured?).
