I could get it on cheap (£60) and considering it. I think it might be a bit shit but I've seen some reviews that claim that it is much better made than normal PSP.

I got a normal PSP by the way but I would sell it and probably make a profit when I exchange it for Go.

I normally wouldn't think about it but the deal seems very good, they are much more expensive normally.

Is there anything better in the Go?

You can't use your old games on it for starters, no UMD.

And no, I wouldn't say it's worth it considering the announcement of the PSP NGP. Stick to your old PSP for now.

Where can you get it so cheap?

An owner of a local store, I've been buying games from them for a while and talked about a PSP, asked me if I wanted to buy a Go for £60 because they have one. It's not brand new but about the same state, only been used a few times. No idea why it's that cheap.

I got two PSP games, so no UMD won't be a big hassle for me. Is it much lighter and prettier, comfortable to play?

Yes, yes and subjective - personally I didn't find too much of a difference in regards to comfort, but again I have big hands.

To be fair £60 is a bargain, but you have to ask yourself how much you plan on using it, especially considering that the PSP2 is out this year.

Why not wait for the NGP?

Because it's a year away, will cost more than I want to spend on a system, and this thread has more to do with the fact that I've been offered one at a good price. At £100+ they normally cost I wouldn't consider it.

A bonus will be that the battery will last longer. Seeing as the Go has far less mechanical moving parts due to the UMD drive absence, you get a lot more juice from your battery.

Although Final Fantasy: Crisis Core has never been released outside of a UMD, which is a bit weird...

Had a go with it, but I probably won't buy as he wants £100 now. It looks and holds better than a normal one, but I still don't see the appeal. Besides, I tried the market and downloadable games are actually far more expensive than physical ones which makes no sense at all as there will be no re-sale value whatsoever. Looks like a good looking gadget but I'd rather buy something else with the money. It's basically the exact same hardware I already own but without some of its features, packed in a nicer shaped plastic.
