PS3 'Home'

We can 'hire out' a cinema to stream the United game and replace the matchday thread :drool:
 
Can't be arsed to list the details but the stuff you can do on it is great. Can't wait for it, and it's free.

It's being done at SCEE London isn't it, same as the PS3 OS and development tools?

I know that it was basically ready some time ago, but the bigwigs in Tokyo were not happy with it - basically seeing that they only get one shot at this.

Wasn't this actually started way back, as a PS2 project?
 
im on the beta test, takes so fecking long to load each section, its a bit boring at the moment tbh
 
Sony are piss takers! I've been waiting for HOME since July.

They better fecking make the XMB accessible in-game too. It seems like Sony don't give a feck about their loyal fans.

i dont have many games for my ps3, but i think i can create an online UT3 game from within Home well i have the option to do it, but theres never really many people around to invite, it's all done through the in Home PSP, you launch the game, then when you quit the game it takes you back to where you were in home, havent really spent much time in Home, its a bit boring

think mine is 0.8.3 or something

That is planning on being released in the summer. I think though that they are planning to release it in a huge firmware update, otherwise I just don't see the point in delaying something which could be done pretty easily.
 
I read somewhere earlier that a sony document had been leaked stating a july release for Home, Sony have since said that this is not an exact date so take it as you will but I wouldn't expect home before then.
