PS3 COD4 Question

Hi guys,
Finally had some time to play the PS3 about a week after getting it....anyways, signed up to the PS3 online stuff and works great. Quick question though, if I have two players on my console, is it possible for BOTH of us to play the online gaming? (if so, how...I can't seem to figure it out)

Also, is it possible to play offline, split screen with other AI players, I can only seem to get it working with just the two of us trying to kill each other..
 
Not possible with COD4 im afraid.

Works with Warhawk and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 though.

I'm quite new to all this, so umm would it be possible for two of us play FIFA or PES online together, or am I getting this wrong?

You can on FIFA, but not on PES online, which btw is horrible. It might be included in PES 2009 but im not sure, you're going to have to check that.
 
Am i right in saying that you can only play co op online, on fifa, in an unranked game?
