PS3 Accessories

Hi,

what accessories do you guys use?

i found few on websites. Are they really worth it

1) Skin Guard
2) PS3 Eye
3)Dust Guard Filter
4)Cooling system

Feel free to suggest any useful accessories.

I have a USB port cooling fan. My PS3 is in a tight space and the fan does a great job, especially considering how inexpensive it was.

is the eye toy thing any good?

always thought it to be a bit of novelty rather than an essential buy.

You're an idiot. There is absolutely no need for a fan!! The cooling system on the PS3 is master piece of technology.

Thought I better right that, due to the notable absence of Weaste.

feck off. Weaste agreed that due to my setup the fan might be necessary.

Depends on what you want really. If you dont have the time to wipe it every day or so then the dust guard is a good idea.

The PS3 eye depends on the games you have. If your getting Littilebigplanet/facebreaker then get one for sure, if not I would hold out for now until its potential is maximized. The PS3 eye will have the Eye Pet coming out soon but Im not sure if that will appeal to you :D

If the PS3 is in a small area with little room the cooling system would be a good idea.

Depends. What games have you got? It's a bit of a novelty and I wouldn't say it's an essential buy. Its got a microphone and camera so I talk to my mates from back home when I'm playing online and it's really good with some of the games you can buy in the PS store but it's not really an essential buy for most people.
 
As I said, he didn't say you needed one. He said it shouldn't be necessary, but if you already have one and it hasn't fecked anything up then yeh leave it.

Its like a retro arcade pad, mostly used for beat em ups, I haven't got one yet but will do when a few more fight games come out.
Having that said there are loads of PS2 games that could be used with it if they are compatible.

You can also get it on the xbox so Soggy doesn't feel left out.

it was only like 10 dollars anyway and it really helps to keep the console cooler.
 
The cooling on the PS3 is superb. Im not a PS3 fan, so why would i lie to you?
