Promoted newbies

Just a thought: how about a regularly up-dated sticky which is a list of promoted newbie(s) that the rest of us could view to see who's been set loose on the forums?

Seen some new names of late; don't know when they've been promoted or how long they've been roaming the forums.



Just a thought...

Just letting us know who's been promoted, that's all. Nothing spectacular.

I see new names I'm not familiar with and wonder when they've been promoted, how long they've been around the main forums.

Now that we don't have access to the Newbie forum any more we've lost that contact with newbies. Before we could become familiar with them prior to them being promoted.

Promoted for about a week n a half something like that. Was just after I wrote a piece on munich so I think around the 8th or 9th of Feb

I was straight out the newbs in not many, now i have failed to progress from youth team level.

This is my 500th post, can you give me an e-clap or something...

Hi,

A sticky existed on the Newbie forum that gave new members a chance to introduce themselves so that we knew something about them.

Maybe something like that?
 
yeah, that'd be a nice idea for the newbs.

It let's the Ricky Fatton's of the Caf step up and give some competition to the Mayweathers (like myself, of course) of this Caf Ring. You'll give it your best shot.
 
I hadn't posted a lot in the newbies in the beginning.

I joined but I was mostly reading what you guys used to write here. A guest who was registered you could say. But then on the day of the City game I posted quite a lot resulting in me getting promoted.

I posted a Hello-Thread once I got promoted so yeah, I'd reckon a thread could be made, and perhaps stickied where all the freshly promoted noobs could say hello to the Bigger, yet not necessarily wiser, Boys ;)

actually, that's a very good idea, start the thread and i'll ask the admins to stick it

i can't do it because i don't have mod powers in the general

Nah, can't be. I've made 259 exquisite posts, so mind bendingly intellectual that anything other than deity status in regards to myself would be the severest kind of Cafthemy
 
The tagline under name is to do with number of posts, to get out of the newbies you need 150 rep points. (which I didn't even get, so I don't know what happened there:nervous:)

Start a thread titled: Newly promoted members introduce yourselves here.

Dependant on it's activity we will make it a sticky.
