Man Utd to offer £16M for Thuram

Manchester United have returned to the negotiating table for Juventus defender Lilian Thuram.
Its reported that United officials spoke with Juve yesterday about the transfer and made a tentative bid of £16 million for the French international.

Juve are demanding £19 million for the 31 year-old, but may be forced to accept the lower offer with the Italian transfer market so static.

Talks are set to continue tomorrow, however Juve also are expecting bids from AC Milan and Real Madrid.
