I've got a question, concerning the new PES 2008.
If you get it, will you buy it for a console or the pc? What would you recommend?
The problem, i have is: I would by it for PS2. That is because the controller is just perfect for that type of game BUT: PES always had a license problem, and I'm a big fan of a game where there is as much authentancy as possible.
So when I'll buy it for PC there will come face-packs from users and that's why I'm also considering to buy it for PC.

What would you say?

I will be buying for the 360. The license's have always been a problem with PES as EA holds most of them.

There is a solution though; If you are planning on getting for the PS2 then buy yourself a Max-drive: http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation2/4-/1008717/Max-Drive-128MB/Product.html

Then sign up to the site PESFAN.COM, they have people who create a file with all the correct names, kits and team line-ups.

You would transfer that file to your Max-drive and then save it to your PS2 console.

Wow, now that sounds great, is this possible for any PS2 game? would be feckin awesome. That would be the perfect solution, I think.
I just hope I can get it in Austria....

it all comes down to whether the pc version will be next gen or not for me. if it is then ill get it on a diff platform, perhaps when i get me ps3
