Anyone used to play Prince of Persia when it was out on Windows 95/98?

Yay, one of the first "top games" I have played. Absolutely loved it. Prince of Persia 2 was quite a disappointment.

Would always manage to get the sword, make my way over to the right side and either
-feck up and hit the spikes when trying to jump
or
- Get stabbed by the guard
The jumping had to be pretty much spot on every time.

I would always fail on the jumping. Brings back great memories playing this on my cousins PC.

I remember our first computer wouldn't run this and then we upgraded and happy times ensued. Think I might still have it somewhere and floppy disk.

I played one of those Prince of Persia games on Nintendo (NES). Don't remember if it was the first one or what, but it was great back in the days.

I always loved the intro, I had the original Snes cartridge where he was in the dungeon being smacked around the head with a club, until the UK censors pulled it and it was changed.

It's the same game as I remeber it on the Amiga with some spruced up graphics and sounds.
It's still great to play as well.

I remember at the time I was playing this t'was Windows 3.1 and essentially this was a Dos game..
Class nonetheless..
All those times I used the cheats through the levels when I was a kid..
Prince Megahit I believe was the filename for the cheat to be activated..
ahhh..good times.
